Pinky Paradise instructional video!

Hey guys! So a while ago I teamed up with Deerstalker Pictures to do an instructional video for Pinky Paradise for circle lens care. It's really weird to see my face on the front page of their website !!
On the day I was super tired and I got to wear a cute casual coordinate to the shoot, little did everybody know I was wearing long johns and uggboots on the bottom half because you didn't see it in the shots *sneaky sneaky* I was totally prepared for mid shoot napping.
I wore all Emily Temple Cute with Angelic Pretty accessories!
(Pyjamas by Peter Alexander and pink sparkly uggboots from Aliexpress)

Here is the video! It's actually really informative and I learnt a lot about circle lenses in the process of making it. But I still have a lot of trouble taking them in and out as you can see, hahahaha. I guess it makes it more natural since it's a beginners video right?!

It was a pretty fun day because the script of the video was very light hearted with slapstick humour involved. I had to interact with the narrator who just so happens to be Senor Arpakasso, and I also got to smash lens bottles and swim around the lounge room!
Here's some obligatory Miley shots!

Pinky Paradise Eclipse lenses!

Wow, I haven't posted in a really long time - I've been so busy with so many things as well as being on holidays so a big apology for not updating! During my busy period though, I was lucky enough to do some modelling for Pinky Paradise with Deerstalker Pictures to show off their new range of Princess Pinky Eclipse lenses! We did photos as well as videos that will be featured on the website soon.

The first pair I wore were the Pinky Paradise Eclipse in Pink!

"Princess Pinky Eclipse Pink sparkles your eyes as pretty as lunar ring. These lenses will enlarge your eyes without distorting the sweet color touch."
Lens information:
Brand: PRINCESS PINKY
 Origin: South Korea
Diameter: 14.5mm
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Water Content: 38%
Life Span: Yearly
 Prescription: -0.00 - 10.00

The second pair I wore were the Pinky Paradise Eclipse in Green!

"Princess Pinky Eclipse Green are an excellent pick for spring-garden make up or overall look. The starry forest tone shimmers beautifully in the iris."
Lens information:
Brand: PRINCESS PINKY
 Origin: South Korea
Diameter: 14.5mm
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Water Content: 38%
Life Span: Yearly
 Prescription: -0.00 - 10.00

I wear a lot of lenses when it comes to lolita and fashion because I like the look they give, and sometimes it's really hard to find the right ones that suit your eye colour and sensitivity (and oh my god my eyes are probably the most sensitive ever). I found that these lenses were a lot thinner in their composition, more comfortable during wear, gave quite a natural look, and didn't irritate my eyes even after long periods of having them in.

The only negative thing I can say about them is because of the fact that they are so thin they are a little bit more tricky to put in, and take a little bit more time to settle in the eye.

For anybody wondering about the co-ordinate in the above pictures here is my co-ord rundown:
Dress: Angelic Pretty Sugar Hearts OP in pink
Wig: Lockshop Cascade in Faerie
Headbows: Bodyline and offbrand taobao
Accessories: Chocomint, Angelic Pretty, offbrand

How to Pose in Lolita

If you haven't already seen it, here is the next video by Deerstalker Pictures that teaches you how to pose while wearing lolita. We all know that trying to figure out how to stand or how to hold your face when taking photos can be a bit tricky, so let Maya, Annette, Laura, Victoria and myself show you how it's done !!

It was an extremely fun video to make, and the shoot was really casual. Maya did all her shooting separately on a different day at her own house, and Laura and Victoria did filming in Victoria's lounge room during a sleepover they were having. Annette came over to my house and we just fiddled around doing set poses that Elliot had thought of for us, and making up a few more as we went along the way.

My favourite pose was definitely "The Miley". I was wearing my Honey Cake JSK with a pair of my step dad's work boots that are ten sizes too big and trying to balance on concrete whilst being ~super sexy~ with the mallet. I almost fell over a few times but it was well worth it in the end. We also figured out during the close up scenes that my face is basically made of rubber.

Maya's page can be found *here*
Annette's blog is *here*
Victoria has her page *here*
Laura's blog is *here*

Keep a look out for the derp reel coming out soon, some of the best parts are definitely going to be in that !!

The Secret Life of the Lolita - Bloopers reel!

Now that we've finished the documentary series about "The Secret Life of the Lolita", you can finally watch what really happens behind the scenes while we are filming. Unfortunately for Elliot and Goldie we are 90% derp and 10% serious acting, but it always ends up in laughs and somehow they're able to edit it into something great.

Here you have an amazing still of my face:
I feel really blessed to be able to work with these guys, as well as the other girls featured in these projects - we've definitely become closer through doing them ^^! We've now moved onto new projects that are just as fun, so look out for them in the future!

The Secret Life of the Lolita: Part three!

Elliot and Goldie of Deerstalker Pictures have just released the final instalment of the documentary series about lolitas !! This time it explores the different substyles of lolita, but of course it goes from normal styles to completely ridiculous but amazing ones made up for the video.

OTT Sweet uguu~ lolita (me) and hobo lolita (Maya babbuu)
It was all filmed in one day at my house being the main location using different rooms, my front yard, the street in front of my house as well as the nearby park and industrial areas. But there was also a bit of travelling to the beach, other people's houses and other locations for it to be perfected ♡ ♡  !!

Here is the video below:

It was like playing dress ups with all the clothes in my wardrobe and the clothes that everybody else bought as well. We were rolling around in a sea of clothes and everybody was helping each other coordinate and come up with different substyles that we thought were funny or would be awesome to portray. I was running on 48 hours no sleep because I am an idiot, so I only did sweet lolita and ero lolita and was happy to watch for the rest ^^!

Robber lolita (Cming) and badass bikie lolitas (Maya, Meggu and Victoria)

I'm so excited for the bloopers / the making of video because I know there were a lot of derpy moments that were captured that I would love to laugh at. Hopefully we get to do bonus ones soon too because after the video we thought of so much more to do >:]
