On Wednesdays we wear pink - Mean lolitas parody!

Last weekend we filmed a lolita version of mean girls that has been in the making for a long time with Deerstalker Pictures !! I played Milkyfawn the queen bee brandwhore who leads the sweet lolita pack. It was such a fun day of filming because we all couldn't stop laughing at the witty rewrites of some of the movies most famous lines.
Coordinate rundown:
Dress: Angelic Pretty Memorial Cake JSK
Blouse: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Angelic Pretty Memorial Cake OTKs
Shoes: Seasons
Accessories: Angelic Pretty, Chocomint
There were so many parts during the filming where we were all laughing so much that we couldn't even say our lines. Especially when Laura (named Victoria in the film) was trying to say Elliot's new name. Also Audrey played Gretchen Weenus and was amazing because she was so sassy, and April played Karen-chan and I couldn't stop laughing at her. Victoria also pulled off the best Alice newbie girl ever -especially because I've never seen her in sweet lolita before. Everybody fit their parts so perfectly, it's one of the funniest shoots I've been on.

I'm very excited for the bloopers to come out - they're exclusive to Deerstalker patreon members and it's totally worth it because you get to see the bogan fight between Victoria and I where we were trying so hard not to use swear words in our sentences and then I pulled off her wig, hahahaha. I also got to be in a relationship with Angelic Pretty's Cats Tea Party dress and get Mr Yan Yans all over my teeth and it tasted so gross and ughhh.

Welcome meet for Sydney lolitas!

Last weekend I hosted a meet with the other moderators from the Sydney Lolita community to welcome all of our new members that have joined over the past few months. It was a really cold day for a picnic, but heaps of people still turned up which was awesome and we shivered together like a kawaii huddle of penguins.
I decided to wear one of my new dresses with a lot of new pieces I've recently got! I was too eager to wear them, but they will be in my next haul post though !!
Coodinate rundown:
Dress: Angelic Pretty Little Bear's Cafe OP
Cardigan: Milk donut print cardigan
Socks: Angelic Pretty ballerina socks
Shoes: An*Tai*Na tea parties
Bag: Angelic Pretty Royal Chocolate boston bag
Accessories: Nile perch, Angelic Pretty, Taobao
We did introductions and got everybody to get to know each other on a first name basis - including names, hobbies, what kind of lolita style we like and what we study or do for jobs. It was so cool to see such a diverse range of people like such a niche fashion !!

We held a few panels regarding different topics to do with lolita which were really helpful. Nicole did a panel on how to deal with wearing lolita in public (which got everybody talking about funny stories!), Victoria did an amazing panel of how and where to buy lolita and included a master list of tips, tricks and stores to check out, as well as a wig and make up panel by Kylie and Cherry which included a make over for one of the girls !! Kate from Rouge Arie Designs couldn't make it on the day but made a hugeeeeee PDF file of lolita sewing basic tips and advice and it's been uploaded to the community page!

I of course forgot the trivia (but still handed out prizes so everybody got cute rilakkuma pens and cookie mirrors), and everybody bought a plate of food or drink to nom on while we all got to know each other. We also did a bit of filming for an upcoming Deerstalker Pictures video which I think is gonna be all kinds of great.

Normal group shot top, and derpy photo bottom of me and my favourite minions hohohohoho~
There are heaps of meets planned that are coming up soon and I'm thinking of doing laser tag. Hopefully that's something awesome to come back and blog about, hahahaha !!

Pinky Paradise Eclipse lenses!

Wow, I haven't posted in a really long time - I've been so busy with so many things as well as being on holidays so a big apology for not updating! During my busy period though, I was lucky enough to do some modelling for Pinky Paradise with Deerstalker Pictures to show off their new range of Princess Pinky Eclipse lenses! We did photos as well as videos that will be featured on the website soon.

The first pair I wore were the Pinky Paradise Eclipse in Pink!

"Princess Pinky Eclipse Pink sparkles your eyes as pretty as lunar ring. These lenses will enlarge your eyes without distorting the sweet color touch."
Lens information:
Brand: PRINCESS PINKY
 Origin: South Korea
Diameter: 14.5mm
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Water Content: 38%
Life Span: Yearly
 Prescription: -0.00 - 10.00

The second pair I wore were the Pinky Paradise Eclipse in Green!

"Princess Pinky Eclipse Green are an excellent pick for spring-garden make up or overall look. The starry forest tone shimmers beautifully in the iris."
Lens information:
Brand: PRINCESS PINKY
 Origin: South Korea
Diameter: 14.5mm
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Water Content: 38%
Life Span: Yearly
 Prescription: -0.00 - 10.00

I wear a lot of lenses when it comes to lolita and fashion because I like the look they give, and sometimes it's really hard to find the right ones that suit your eye colour and sensitivity (and oh my god my eyes are probably the most sensitive ever). I found that these lenses were a lot thinner in their composition, more comfortable during wear, gave quite a natural look, and didn't irritate my eyes even after long periods of having them in.

The only negative thing I can say about them is because of the fact that they are so thin they are a little bit more tricky to put in, and take a little bit more time to settle in the eye.

For anybody wondering about the co-ordinate in the above pictures here is my co-ord rundown:
Dress: Angelic Pretty Sugar Hearts OP in pink
Wig: Lockshop Cascade in Faerie
Headbows: Bodyline and offbrand taobao
Accessories: Chocomint, Angelic Pretty, offbrand
