Cakes and clocks ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ!!

 New dresses make me happppyyyyyy! 

I recently got these two in the mail and I've been swooning ever since I opened the packages. I think it's time I started to stray away from very over the top super pink sweet lolita and try some different styles and coloursヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ !! 
I'm really obsessed with brown and cream at the moment and I think that these two dresses are perfect additions into my wardrobe, because they can both be made very classical or very sweet depending on what they're co-ordinated with ☆ (≧ω≦).

This first dress is Baby The Stars Shine Bright's "Merry Sweet Castle" JSK in brown with matching headbow. 

I never really liked this dress (╥_╥), but I think it's because of the black and pink colourways where the colours were really stark and contrasted with each other; I feel as though it didn't blend or sit right with the band around the bottom. But, this colourway really grew on me. 

The brown and cream really work well together with the hints of deep red and pink in the print. It's not a very chocolate brown though, it's a very red brown which makes it a little bit harder to co-ord than some of my other dresses but nevertheless I am really in love with it o(≧o≦)o.

The second dress is Angelic Pretty's "Marionette Clock" OP in the Ivory colourway.

I only really bought this dress because it was on auction for $75 *and I ended up winning it at around $100 (~￣▽￣)~* and I figured it was too big of a bargain to not buy it, hahaha! But ever since I got it I've started to like it more and more because it's quite different to a lot of the prints that are popular at the moment from Angelic Pretty (ᴗ˳ᴗ) like Sugary Carnival and Milky Planet for example.

The features of the dress are very pretty. It has detachable long sleeves, a cute bow tie and lovely double breasted buttons that run down the middle leading into a very cute elongated bow. I think the black piping is an amazing detail too (✿ ♥‿♥) .

I got two new black bonnets to match as well *pictured left*! The top one is a custom made one from Oo Jia \(◕ ◡ ◕\) , and the bottom is an Anna House half bonnet. In the middle is a cute barrette from Angelic Pretty that matches my dress that the seller included in the package, and on the right is a close up of the front detailing.

I'm really happy, I can't wait for my other packages to arrive!!

Since we're total regulars at the Morning Glory store in the city, we took photos with the staff last time we went in hahaha! They made up a new greeting where you rub your cheeks and say *morning morning*, it's so cute!

Honey Cake ヽ(๏∀๏ )ﾉ

I've been lusting over this print by Angelic Pretty for a while now and it's at the top of my lolita wish list at the moment! It's the 2011 print named "Honey Cake" and it's beyond gorgeous (╯3╰) !! The dress comes in pink, mint, yellow and ivory *which is my preferred colourway*. I haven't been able to find it anywhere, but when I do I will be selling my soul for it!

There are three versions of the dress; the one piece, switching jsk and round jsk.

The pancake bag is adorable, and there are different headbow and sock colourways.

Ahhh, all of my want!

Signs I buy too much.

I went to a swap meet the other day with friends! It was raining and yucky but it was nice to spend time with them dancing around to k-pop and selling and swapping clothes. I forgot to take pictures this time though ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ arggghhh, we were busy doing filmy things ehe but I have taken photos of what I got!

This is my first classic dress ever! It's the Orion OP from Innocent World and when I tried it on at the meet the girls said they would punch me if I didn't buy it ~___~. Kayte ended up buying it for me as a present! She's so lovely and I need to get her one now too >:]!! It's such soft flowy chiffon and I feel really doll-like in it. I want to wear it all the time now (｡◕‿◕｡)!!

And this is the ever so perfect Alice and the Pirates badass kawaii vampire pirate set *obviously I don't know the name of it but it's too badass for words* that I swapped with CMing for! She wore it to Supanova Gold Coast and I was all love heart eyed for it, and she liked my Angelic Pretty Strawberry Mille-Feuille JSK so it was a direct swap (◕‿◕✿)!!

My favourite part of it is the stand up vampire collar, and the fact that the tails and some of the ruffle detailing + the cuffs are detachable so I can wear it badass or casually. 

These two are older dresses that I've gotten but haven't had a chance to show you guys yet! The first is my long awaited Strawberry Skies nebula JSK made by Manon, and the second is a really cute Emily Temple Cute dress I bought off Imi because she needed money for her travels! I love them both to death because they're totally perfect for casual wear.

In other news, Supanova Sydney is next weekend and I'm really really excited! I'll be floating around both days except for Sunday morning due to an interview, but I'll be in Angelic Pretty the first day and Baby, The Stars Shine Bright the second day. I've got all my co-ords planned out in my head oh hohohoho~ Expect lots because I know I've been lacking in outfit posts, I'm sorryyyyy!

Goldie and Elliot came to Sydney!

A little while ago Goldie and Elliot travelled down to Sydney to see a concert and we spent some time with them! They're both amazing film makers and director peoples so they documented their trip the way they know best - down the lens of a camera!

Ahhh, I'm so sorry for not blogging >___<!! 

You see, I got Diablo III and I haven't been able to get off it arggghhhh it's so addicting. I've been playing as a Demon Hunter and it's seriously become my life now ~___~!! But meanwhile while I wasn't blogging, a lot of packages arrived and exciting things happened so I have some posts lined up so I haven't quit this blog I promise ehehe.

The other day my mbok and taobao packages arrived and included in them was my huggeee haul of kodona! I've been in awe of the style for a while now but have been to scared to try it, but I ended up giving in to temptation and getting a few things to get me started!

This coat was originally meant to be for Jack but when it arrived it was wayyy too small so I kept it and I'm ordering him another one that will fit properly (◕‿◕✿)!! It's by Infanta and the detailing on it is actually really good. There is a detachable jabot with a brooch in the middle decorated with chains, as well as rose buttons and a stand up vampire collar. It totally reminds me of Ciel Phantomhive *love*.

 

These two items are my favourite though, especially the second one. 

On the left is my new Alice and the Pirates "Striped Clown" salopette pants which the seller included a  really cute tie with! It's my first piece from the AATP range and the pants are totally puffy and awesomeeee ☆~(≧ω≦). Anddddd on the right is the best thing I have ever owned everrrrr - Black Peace Now "Sarueru all in one"! I traded a black gothic coat set with my friend CMing for them (I've been lusting over them ever since I saw her in them a year ago!). The crotch is as low as ever and it's comfy and totally badass visual kei. I really love the colour too *swoon*

 

The other thing I bought was a  Dear Celine set that they recently brought out (a lot of indie brands are bringing out ouji lines at the moment so keep a look out if you like it!). It's a bit crinkly but that's the fabric orz;; I think after I put it through the wash with a nice fabric softener they will be a lot nicer. 

I really love the brown colour ~because it reminded me of deers~ but I think it would be a nice classic touch to the outfitヽ(๏∀๏ )ﾉ!! I also bought the pants in black as well because you can never have enough puffy pants, haha!
