Absinthe Salon, again?!

So, I ended up at the Absinthe Salon again for Bastille Day! Since it's a french place filled with french alcohol with a dress fancy (and french!) theme of course we went. I was really tired from filming all day though so I basically napped in the corner ~whoopsss~
I bought a poodle costume to wear to the event but it didn't come in time which made me pretty sad, so I wore a french flag themed co-ordinate with a dress that I have recently bought !!
Coordinate rundown:
Dress: Angelic Pretty French Doll OP w/ matching badge and belt
Cardigan: Dangerfield
Beret: Borrowed from Goldie
Socks: Angelic Pretty ballerina OTKs
Shoes: An*tai*na tea parties
Bag (not shown): Angelic Pretty french biscuit bag w/ matching passcase
Accessories: Angelic Pretty, Chocomint
From left down and then across: Elliot, Goldie Maya, Laura, Annette, Elyse, Cherry and the french flag.

The guys that work at the salon know us by name now that we've been there quite a few times (ahaha, whoops) and it's always a pleasure to see them and take over the whole place. There were prizes for best dressed and everyone in our group got one because we are da besssssssst.

I didn't drink this time because I drove - instead I bought a drink for everybody else to share and enjoyed their drunk company. The lighting in there isn't that great to take photos though so we had to light each other with our iphone lights for selfies, hahaha !!

Gothic night at the Absinthe salon

Last weekend we went to an Absinthe Salon as a different kind of lolita meet. I've never been to one before and it was so cool! The way you have to drink the absinthe is done in a traditional way by dripping water over a sugar cube into your cup to cause a chemical reaction in the alcohol and you really can taste the different flavours in it!

Laura organised it all for us and did an amazing job, it was gothic lolita themed and we were told that if you didn't wear gothic she would attack you with black lipstick - so I put down my pink dress and bought out a black one!
Coordinate rundown:
Dress: Marionette in my Closet Room by Alice and the Pirates
Blouse: Danger Field
Shoes: An*tai*na
Headdress: Chess Story
Accessories: Offbrand
Laura, Annette and myself with the coolest mural ever
Halfway through the night we were all pretty drunk and had pretty much claimed territory of half of the whole bar but the people that worked there didn't mind because we were chatting to them all night. Our  main waiter Nathanial was so nice and gave us recommendations for which ones to drink and also came and sat down with us at one point. I also think we may have converted him into dressing aristocrat.

My favourite one was the Absinthe du Chocolat' which was served in a pipe and tasted like chocolate *my favourite yummmmm*
Annette and I, and a picture of me and our waiter Nathanial!
Afterwards we stumbled out after getting photos taken, and then made our way to karaoke to drink more and sing a lot. I ended up getting home at like 4am oh man but it was definitely worth it!
